If you’re looking to apply permaculture principles to your orchard, ground cover raspberries are perfect for planting around other trees. They are a productive ground cover that aids in weed suppression. All 3 of the cultivars we have available are thornless and only grow up to 5 inches, which form a fluffy mat of green leaves and pink flowers in the spring or bright red fruit in the late summer. We recommend getting two cultivars for pollination.
